The Camerata Tinta Barocca Music Charitable Trust has been formed with the sole
objective of carrying on one or more public benefit activities, including the advancement,
promotion and preservation of the arts and culture and to educate the public in,
and enhance their appreciation and understanding of, the musical arts.

Our goal is to pay our musicians a professional rate, as well as to offer concessions
to pensioners. This can only be achieved through sponsorship and donations.
|

|
|
The Trust is a vehicle by which funds and other assets may be collected, administered
and applied, for the purposes of a public benefit activity. The Trust is registered
with the Master of the High Court, Cape Town, under the reference number IT 2889/2006.
It has also been registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with SARS Tax
Exemption Unit in Pretoria. The PBO number is 930023529. Hence, any income generated
by the Trust is exempt from tax and, furthermore, any Donations or Bequests made
to the Trust are exempt from Donations Tax and Estate Duty respectively. In other
words, Donations Tax and Estate Duty at the rate of 20% will not be levied against
individual donors.
